BRAVE Ambassadors
A youth leadership program for young women and non-binary leaders, ages 14-24 years old, to be B.R.A.V.E. Campus Ambassadors.
‘Ambassadors’ will ally with a group of dynamic young women as they expand their individual leadership and team building skills,gain a sense of agency and power,and engage their community and effect change through a social justice and racial equity lens.
The Ambassadors will look deeply at both today’s urgent issues and related historical moments, in order to form their own meaningful connections with movements for social justice and racial equity. The Ambassadors will work in “Committees” to plan and carry out three community-building events on a quarterly basis.
We equip this diverse cohort of dynamic allies with practical leadership experience and skills to engage others and effect change through a social justice and racial equity lens. BRAVE Ambassadors will look deeply at both today’s urgent issues and related historical moments, in order to form their own meaningful connections with movements for social justice.
My leadership skills definitely have improved after joining the BRAVE Ambassadors. Joining the BRAVE Ambassadors kind of gave me a good sense of commUNITY and I can be open to sharing my ideas and not feel ashamed or shy about them.
